The Cray Computer Corp spin-off from Cray Research Inc reported a net loss of $12.7m for the third quarter, up from a $9.6m loss last year: revenues were only $159,000, but the figure does not include the sale of a Cray-2/8 that was delayed by Budget negotiations and politicking in Washington; Cray expects that the contract will be signed in the near future and revenues included in fourth quarter results; the company is currently getting test wafers from its Colorado Springs-based Gallium Arsenide foundry for use in the Cray-3 supercomputer.
