Open Systems Interconnection outfit Retix Corp, Santa Monica, California, has formed a new team to custom-design open interconnection software to order – the Retix Special Projects Group will be based at the Dublin, Ireland centre: Retix has also introduced a new licensing program, enabling manufacturers to take a raft of Open Systems Interconnection products on a one-time licence fee, and now offers OEM versions of its Unix and MS-DOS software for personal computers.
