JetFax Inc of Menlo Park, California, formerly known as Hybrid Fax Inc, has announced an OEM agreement with Fujitsu Europe Ltd: Fujitsu is to market the company’s plain-paper facsimile, personal computer fax and network fax products in the UK; the contract is valued at more than $1m initially, and pending approval of the British Approval Board for Telecommunications, anticipated in May, Fujitsu will market JetFax II, JetFaxPC, and JetFax IIN products; the JetFax II delivers documents onto office laser printers on plain bond paper, while JetFaxPC software operates in conjunction with the JetFax II to provide personal computer fax transmission capabilities using an internal fax board; the JetFax IIN is a network fax for local area networks and printer sharers; JetFax II offers automatic reduction, and 1Mb of battery-backed memory to store up to 60 pages, and has a copier function.
