So far, Mandarin has trained 400 senior managers worldwide in the SuccessFactors system and plans to train 3,000 department heads, managers and supervisors over the coming months.
The SuccessFactors performance and talent management suite includes performance management, goal management, 360-degree reviews, succession management, compensation management, learning and development, recruiting management, employee profile, and analytics and reporting applications.
The hotel group has already deployed the performance management module, and is currently configuring the succession management module. It will also deploy the SuccessFactors 360 review module after one year.
SuccessFactors’ suite develops a company-wide network of information related to employee performance, including skill-sets, interests, career aspirations, ability to relocate, experience, languages spoken and more. It aims to provide real-time visibility into such critical performance data, enabling companies to take informed decisions on promotions, recruitment, compensation and rewards for employees.
Jacqueline Moyse, head of organisational development for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, said: We knew that in order to achieve our key objectives we would have to have the right people in the right jobs at the right time. SuccessFactors provides us with the breadth of support we need to implement a consistent and user friendly performance management system across all of our global properties.
