Carlsberg wants to cut its total water use in half and eliminate wastewater discharge by 2030. In its factory in Fredericia, Denmark, it has developed – with Grundfos and others – a facility that treats used process water, purifies it, then sends 90% of it back to the brewery to be reused as process water.
