Dutch distributor Mopro BV of Utrecht says it will be ready to ship the Apple Computer Inc Macintosh-based object-oriented music notation package Notator Logic in June. Notator Logic was introduced by its developer, C-Lab Software GmbH, at the Frankfurt Music Fair this year, and is C-Lab’s first product for the Apple Macintosh. The software, which Mopro is offering at $700, uses what it calls a musical objects environment linking notation with sound sequencing, and offers a virtually unlimited number of tracks, real-time editing and a so-called WYHIWYG What You Hear is What You Get facility. A version of the program for the Atari Corp ST is expected for September. Mopro says it will also be shipping the Aura and Midia training and educational software for the Macintosh in May.
