They’re combining webMethods’ Infravio X-Registry and the iTKO LISA 3.5 SOA Testing Framework to create a joint offering, which they say will enable companies to more easily scale their SOA implementations.

The companies said they will do some joint sales and marketing around the partnership, too.

SOA testing isn’t a passive activity, said Jim Mackay, chief marketing officer at iTKO in a statement. Rather, it’s an active and continuing process for enabling enterprise-level performance. By partnering with webMethods, we can help joint customers dramatically improve the performance and reliability of their implementations.
