VoiceServe, a software platform provider of next generation services to Internet Telephony Providers (ITSPs), has launched a new version of Vippie mobile dialer for iPhones that supports video calling to other iPhone users as well as to any SIP device.
Available in Apple’s App Store under the name Vippie Video Softphone, the application developed by Voipswitch for video conferencing, reduces the bandwidth usage to 140Kb/s.
Voiceserve CEO Michael Bibelman said with the launch of the new version of Vippie mobile dialer for iPhones, they are beginning VoIP video service and are planning to add support for higher resolution video and support for additional compression systems.
VoiceServe other products include VoipSwitch, a custom modular all-in-one Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) management platform licensing offering for resellers; and VoIP airtime minutes bundled with optional features.
