Harrisonburg is deploying MobileCop, BIO-key’s wireless query and messaging solution and DaProSystems’ Mobile FR field reporting tool in laptops across the police department’s patrol vehicle fleet. With this newly integrated system, patrol officers will be able to communicate silently and securely with the dispatch center, query state and federal criminal justice databases, and complete and submit field reports on-scene from within their vehicles.
