inCode offers consulting and integration services to wireless carriers, wireless equipment makers, cable operators and enterprises. Its wireless customers include Cingular, Verizon, Motorola and Nokia, as well as many other large carriers and manufacturers. On the enterprise side, inCode does business for the likes of Microsoft, Toyota and several other big names.
Privately held inCode is backed by Sequoia Capital, Focus Ventures and iNovate Communications Group, according to the company’s website.
VeriSign said the transaction wouldn’t materially impact its 2006 results.
