UNIT4, a provider of business software, has reported total revenues of €421.7m for the fiscal year 2010, an increase of 11.1% compared to €379.4m for the previous fiscal year.

Revenue from license increased 23.4% to €72.7m from €58.8m in the fiscal 2009.

The company’s total EBITDA was €86.1m, an increase of 14.6% compared to €75.1m in FY09, and the total EBITDA margin grew to 20.4% from 19.8% in 2009.

For the fiscal year 2010, the company’s net profit before goodwill increased 23.5% to €43.2m, compared to €35.0m in FY09.

Geographically, Benelux business grew by 10%, with improvements in the private sector compared with 2009, and revenues in Norway and Sweden grew by 10% and 15% respectively, partly due to currency effects.

License revenues in Spain grew by 26% with orders in healthcare and the private sector. However, total revenue declined by 6%, primarily due to the lower number of consultants as a result of the reorganisation in 2009.

Germany registered a drop of 5% in revenue while in UK and US revenue increased by 4% and 11%, respectively.

Revenue in North America accounts for 5% of the total UNIT4 revenue.

For the FY11, the company expects organic revenue growth for the mid to long term to range between 5% and 10%, and strategic reorganisation of its R&D resources is planned this year which will see a focus on R&D in Granada, Spain.
