During the 12 months to December 31, 2002, the Paris, France-based company saw a 25% decline in net profit to 22.5m euros ($24.4m), on revenue that grew 2.1% to 612.3m euros ($663m). The company’s revenue rose 6.2% in France, but sales outside its domestic region, which accounted for 21.3% of total revenue, fell 10.9% during the year.
Unilog made an operating profit margin of 11.5% down from 12.3% in the previous year, but its UK operation made an operating loss of 3.8m euros ($4.1m). The company’s headcount increased by 2.3% during 2002 to 6,770.
The company said it was difficult to make forecasts for the rest of 2003 due to the unsettled economic environment, but said it expected sales from consulting and engineering services to remain flat.
