NeuStar’s UltraDNS directory services platform consists of strategically distributed and redundant network nodes across five continents. Each node is a self-contained cluster of proprietary servers, systems, and data that improves response time to the directory services platform for a given region’s internet users. Within the UltraDNS network, end user DNS requests are routed to the closest geographic network node available, and are resolved instantly with customer data.
The Beijing node is deployed in Computer Network Information Center (CNIC) in Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Sydney node is deployed in one of Equinix’s Internet Business Exchange (IBX) centers.
Ben Petro, senior vice president of NeuStar, said: We strive to bring our customers reliable DNS and traffic management services to support their business continuity and network requirements. Our presence in Australia and China will not only benefit enterprises based in those countries, but also organizations in other regions who want online experience for their customers in the Asia Pacific region.
