Financial and clinical outcomes data from Action-OI are used in UHC’s operational data base, which allows University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) members to evaluate their performance, compare it to other organizations, and pinpoint opportunities to control costs and improve quality. The new contract builds on a 10-year relationship between the two organizations and provides product continuity for UHC members.
Cindy White, vice president of operations at UHC, said: Action-OI has provided our members tremendous value. We are eager to continue our long-standing and productive working relationship with Thomson Healthcare and to provide continued value-added support to the UHC membership.
