One of Japan’s larger software and systems houses, Toyo Information Systems Ltd has established a New York office to open its doors in April: Toyo is following the march of its customers to set up offices in the US, including its parent company, Sanwa Bank Co; it already has subsidiaries in Los Angeles and the UK, and owns a software development company in Boston, Oberon Software Inc; other software development companies that have set up overseas offices at the request of their globe-trotting customers include Ascii Corp, Intec Inc and Sumisho Computer Services Ltd.
