The first half of the year tends to be dull for sales of personal computers, so Irvine, California-based AST Research Inc has put together a promotional bundle featuring its Bravo 486/25 personal computer and Super-VGA monitor with Microsoft Windows 3.0: untul June 18, AST is offering the Bravo 486/25 bundle 25MHz CPU, 80Mb disk, 3.5 floppy, 2Mb memory; MS-Windows 3.0 and MS-DOS 3.3 installed on the hard disk, Super-VGA monitor; Microsoft mouse; and AST mouse pad for $4,725, a saving of almost $1,000 on the items bought separately; the bundle based on its Bravo/386SX, which at $2,800 saves over $1,000, has been extended until April 30 in the US.
