Telematics International Inc, Fort Lauderdale, Florida has new Spectrum Digital DX-10 and DX-20 Network Access Multiplexers claimed to provide cost-effective, intelligent access to both public and private wideband digital networks for small and medium-sized companies whose communications involve data, speechand video; the company also added a Spectrum Digital Graphical Network Capability to enhance its DX line’s network management and control facilities, with support for colour displays, windowing and database features; the Spectrum Digital Trunk Channel Card improves bandwidth costs savings with two-to-one or four-to-one speech compression on DX voice products; Spectrum Digital Analog Voice Channel Card enables full analogue connections and digital encoding with two-to-one or four-to-one digital compression for transmission across a network; and the Telematics Net 25 Programmable Access Gateway enables networks supporting different addressing schemes to communicate, providing integrated access to public and private networks with or without the use of the X75 protocol and the inherent Data Network Identification Code restrictions; the company did not give any prices.
