West London interconnection specialist TeleAdapt Ltd, has branched out from its core business of selling the 40-odd plug adaptors the world in its infinite variety uses, and come up with all you ever needed to run your Apple Computer Inc PowerBook while on the move. TeleAdapt’s managing director Gordon Brown said there is currently no one-stop-shop for the travelling user, so he has devised a range of eight accessories, including On the Road software which enables remote users to print or fax a document automatically as soon as the computer is connected to a printer or telephone line, a battery strength checker, and a device enabling battery exchange without shutting down the machine, an extension cable and a 5′ security lock. TeleAdapt has just opened an office in San Jose, California, and cellular interfacing is its next area of interest.
