The offerings include SAP’s xAPP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence product, which links a company’s ERP system to the plant floor, as well as several TCS applications for the sector.
TCS and SAP developers in India and Germany will together design these manufacturing-specific applications, which will be based on TCS’ plant integration software.
TCS currently generates more than 20% of its $2.2bn in annual revenue from the manufacturing and utilities sector.
