Tata Communications and Google have collaborated on cloud computing services, with Tata appointed as the authorised partner for Google Cloud Platform.
As part of the deal, the new Google Cloud Interconnect service will be integrated with Tata’s cloud enablement service IZO Public. This will enable firms to create cloud computing facilities.
Tata Communications NextGen Business CEO Julie Woods-Moss said: "Together with Google, we are committed in creating an ecosystem to make the Internet fit for business to address how businesses use the Internet to connect to the cloud in a secure and predictable way."
The deal will also enable both companies to offer businesses a simple and future-proof way to connect and build their cloud over the public Internet.
IZO Public, which is part of Tata’s IZO network platform for improved hybrid cloud enablement, captures the public internet and uniquely tailors it for projected routing, alongside enterprise cloud connectivity and interconnected data centres.
The latest integration of Google Cloud Interconnect and IZO Public cloud enablement service will also allow Tata to expand its IZO platform ecosystem.
Tata Communications has also collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure with the IZO platform.
