Tandem Computers Inc seems to have cornered the market for forthcoming intelligent networks – Denmark’s Jydsk Telefon A/S has signed a software development agreement with Tandem, under which Jydsk, a regional telephone company, will develop applications based on Tandem’s TCP-1000 service control point, the TSMS-1000 service management system and the TSCE-1000 set of development tools – the applications that are developed under the agreement will be used by both companies; and London-based systems and software house Logica Plc has placed a UKP400,000 contract with Tandem for its mid-range computer, NonStop CLX 840, to develop Intelligent Network applications for Telecom Finland.
