Spider Systems Ltd of Wokingham, Berkshire, has enhanced its Token Ring SpiderAnalyzer product, and says that it can monitor and analyze 4Mbps or 16Mbps rings from a central site: the SpiderAnalyzer includes a remote capability option which when used with Token Ring SpiderProbe units, enables multiple ring monitoring and analysis; each SpiderProbe is a slave unit that monitors and analyzes tasks on aring and feeds information back to the master SpiderAnalyzer; the standard Token Ring SpiderAnalyzer in kit form costs UKP9,000, and in personal computer form, it costs UKP12,000; a Token Ring Remote Capability option is UKP950, a High Level Decodes option is UKP1,000, and the Token Ring SpiderProbe is UKP3,450.
