ERP and financial management software provider UNIT4 and software, consultancy services provider NCCW have partnered to provide a joint Software as a Service (SaaS) offering for social housing organisations.
NCCW is the developer of Corporatie Cloud, a cloud platform that places important applications for social housing organisations in the cloud, where they will be fully integrated with each other.
UNIT4 delivers a number of applications to support the business processes of the organisations, starting with HRM and Payroll.
Under the collaboration, UNIT4 said that it will acquire a minority interest of 49% in NCCW.
NCCW general director Wibo Pollmann said with this partnership with UNIT, NCCW can count on reliable and qualitative business software and the support of a leading party in the Netherlands.
"UNIT4 has an excellent reputation and, just like NCCW, has a service record of several decades. Continuity, reputation, and quality are very important to our customers. By making use of the UNIT4 SaaS-solutions, we expect to be able to deliver functionality in the Corporatie Cloud faster to our clients," said Pollmann.
UNIT4 Benelux director Jos Andeweg said the 15 social housing organisations started using Corporatie Cloud within a very short time, proves that it works.
"Both globally and in the Benelux, we see many opportunities in cloud computing. Our position as a SaaS- provider is increasing and the cooperation with NCCW fits this perfectly. We see great opportunities for growth, about 30 organizations are using UNIT4 applications (mostly financial), and thanks to the intensive cooperation with NCCW we can extend our activities with social housing organizations considerably," said Andeweg.
