Sonasoft, a SMB software developer, has said that its SonaVault Email Archiving will now be included in a hosted Software as a Service (Saas) or a Hardware as a Service (HaaS) offerings of UbiStor, a provider of robust data protection and hosting offerings.
With the new service oriented offering, smaller businesses will have options to obtain the email/ recovery, discovery and productivity benefits by company’s of all sizes in today’s environment.
Sonasoft founder and CEO Andy Khanna said this provides an easily scalable means by which businesses can utilize the software solutions that the company has designed and built specifically for the SMB marketplace.
UbiStor chief technology officer Dave Brooks said that the company’s expertise and infrastructure combined with SonaSoft’s archiving software provides for an email archive and compliance offering that will expand UbiStor’s service offering for hosted and on premise customer models.
"Small and midsize companies currently have issues with growing message stores, eDiscovery and compliance, this new offering will address this segment of the market with a robust, cost effective offering," Brooks added.
