List the biggest companies with enterprise mobility offerings and you will end up with many of the same big players you do for most IT sectors, including Microsoft, IBM and SAP.

But what about the vendors who have built their entire companies on the enterprise mobility revolution? CBR rounds up the biggest pure-play vendors out there.

1. Tangoe

Tangoe had 2014 revenues of $212.5 million; IDC states it has an EMM software market share of 1.2 percent. The Matrix portfolio includes solutions for mobile devices, control and visibility of voice and data services, cloud services and IT management.

Tangoe also provides a social app, inTouch, which allows anyone with a corporate email to sign in. The user can then message contacts in one-on-one or group chats, share content and integrate email and voice calls.

2. Good Technology

Good Technology has the second highest software revenues from EMM according to a recent IDC report. This stream makes up most of its total revenues of $136.8m. In the EMM software market it has a market share of 9.7 percent.

Good has been lambasted in the past for prioritising security over user experience, but it has addressed these concerns more recently.

3. MobileIron

For 2014 MobileIron had GAAP revenue of $132.3 million. Its market share in the EMM software market is 9.2 percent. The company went public in 2014 and spent the year winning new customers including Forbes Global 2000 companies as well as releasing software enhancements to its Core, Cloud, Sentry, Tunnel and AppConnect products.

It has also integrated with Google in order to provide secure mobile access to Google’s Apps and launched Docs@Work, a standalone application allowing global access and editing for cloud-based content solutions.

4. Globo

Globo has revenues of $47.39 million and takes a 1 percent chunk of the EMM software market. With customers including EMC, Siemens, Oracle, Intel and IBM, Globo offers the GO!Enterprise suite, including its Office, Mobilizer and Reach products.

Globo also offers a cloud-based mobility product specifically for the SME market called GO!Enterprise247, which aims to cater to the specific needs and resources of smaller companies.

5. SOTI

SOTI does not publish its revenue figures, but IDC claims it achieved EMM software revenue of $43.2 million in 2014 with an overall market share of 3.1 percent. The company has over 15,000 enterprise customers and manages millions of devices worldwide. Its solution, SOTI MobiControl provides COPE and BYOD management for enterprises.

The company saw revenue growth of 63.6 percent in 2014, so it was the fastest growing company on this list.
