Thanx Media, a provider of integrated offerings for online retailers and media companies, and Magento, an ecommerce platform have entered into a partnership to bring Endeca On-Demand search and merchandising capabilities to Magento merchants.
The companies said that the partnership is designed to help Magento merchants quickly and inexpensively incorporate Endeca’s commerce search and merchandising capabilities into Magento storefronts, capabilities that enhance the customer experience and boost conversion rates.
Thanx Media’s Endeca On-Demand offering is a hosted version of the Endeca Commerce Suite used by B2C and B2B retailers and distributors.
Roy Rubin, CEO and founder of Magento, said: “This partnership reflects a commitment to giving Magento merchants increased flexibility to deploy customised solutions and to best integrate popular and proven eCommerce capabilities into their environments.
“It also introduces new avenues for Magento-powered merchants to better compete on what had previously been cost or resource prohibitive customer experience enhancements.”
Paul Matker, CEO of Thanx Media, said: “Through this partnership, we’re focused on advancing this encouraging evolution – dramatically lowering the barriers to benefit from the cutting edge search and merchandising capabilities historically enjoyed by only the largest of eCommerce operations.”
