Saba has launched a new platform, Saba 5.5, which is designed to help organisations manage change by unifying, engaging, and mobilising their people assets.
The company said that Saba Mobile, increases employee efficiency by enabling people to continously collaborate and learn using their mobile device. The real-time performance feedback allows anyone in the organisation to submit constant informal feedback that flows directly into the formal performance review process.
Other features include Saba Compensation, which allows managers to make compensation decisions based on access to the most comprehensive set of people information; and the practice workflows and wizard based processes that deliver people process efficiencies across the value chain.
According to the company, with an updated web 2.0 user interface, it is visually unifying information so that, whether a user is trying to create a succession pool, start a performance review, or manage a team of employees, the view of the employee information is the same.
The company claims that Saba 5.5 will improve the ability to access and analyse information on people across the entire value chain through its unified information architecture. Saba 5.5 is designed to be the single platform for people management processes across the complete career lifecycle, including support for learning, performance, development, succession, workforce planning, career planning, mobility, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Bobby Yazdani, chairman and CEO of Saba, said: “With a people-based strategy enabled by Saba, organizations and their entire value chain can operate based on shared goals that are understood and aligned, and can help ensure the right people are engaged in the right places at the right time.
