Motorola has introduced the FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR smartphone, which runs on Android 2.1 and has seven customisable home screens, live and interactive wallpapers. It has a five-row QWERTY keypad with a separate row for numeric keys.

According to Motorola, FLIPOUT comes with enhanced MOTOBLUR that syncs posts, contacts, photos and messages from sources such as Facebook, Gmail, MySpace, Twitter, and Orkut, and personal e-mail, and delivers them to the home screen.

Additionally, it also automatically backs up log-in information, home screen customisations, contacts, e-mail and social network messages to a secure server and provides remote data wipe for lost or stolen devices, and restores the lost information through single username and password.

The FLIPOUT features include, CrystalTalk PLUS, that adds a second microphone and speaker, reducing background noise and ensuring even clearer audio quality; and is Adobe Flash Enabled to provide access to content-rich websites.

Further, FLIPOUT comes with FM radio with RDS support, a 3.1-megapixel camera with digital zoom and KODAK PERFECT TOUCH technology and gallery mode for tagging and labeling of photos. It also includes a 2GB memory card, expansible to 32GB, and is built on GPS.

The Motorola FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR will be available in Brazil for BRL999 by the first half of July.
