Microsoft has released its new cloud service Microsoft Office 365, which combines Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Lync Online, Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint Online, across 40 markets.
Microsoft claims the tools put enterprise-grade email, instant messaging, shared documents, video and Web conferencing, and portals at users’ fingertips.
The Office 365 connects to Microsoft Office applications like Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and others to offer a range of service plans designed to meet the needs of businesses of various sizes.
The latest cloud service, which can be operated on any device, allows users to stay on the ‘same page’ using instant messaging and virtual meetings, and share ideas with people across the world.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said with a few clicks, Office 365 levels the playing field, giving small and midsize businesses powerful collaboration tools that have given big businesses an edge for years.
