Infragistics, a design software company, and StudioWorks Software, a software provider to Visual Studio market, have unveiled Designbox for NetAdvantage for Windows Forms.

Infragistics developers can now create content designs for Windows Forms applications using the Designbox, a Visual Studio add-in, which includes a free design library.

Working designs stored into shareable design palettes are dragged and dropped directly onto the design surface, where developers can easily modify and then drag back to their designbox for re-use.

Infragistics director of partner and alliance programs Sara Faatz said by enabling developers to create and apply control designs through Designbox, they can ensure consistency in the UI across multiple applications and reduce overall development time.

StudioWorks Software president Joseph Burke said developers who use NetAdvantage for Windows Forms to create applications can incorporate designbox into their UI design process and focus on the rest of their application development process.
