HP has introduced a new application, HP Enterprise Services which claimed to speed up deployment of SAP application by the enterprises.

The HP AppSystems are built on HP Converged Infrastructure based on the HP ProLiant DL980 server with HP PREMA architecture and are claimed to offer a 1-, 2- or 4- terabyte memory application.

The products are claimed to increase the speed of deployment of SAP Business Suite software powered by SAP HANA and HP Enterprise Cloud Services for SAP applications.

HP Enterprise Services Global Enterprise Applications and Mobility Services vice president Jules Beck said that the company’s portfolio of cloud platforms and services offers a cloud model that increases the benefits of SAP applications while providing data privacy and sovereignty, disaster recovery and high availability.

"Organisations deploying new enterprise applications need to be set up for success," Beck added.

According to the company, the system provides a prepackaged and fully supported appliance, which can handle large amounts of transactional and analytics data from one centralised database.

HP Enterprise Cloud Services for SAP applications include the HP Enterprise Cloud Services and the SAP Applications Platform as a Service (APaaS).

The company said its the HP AppSystems is an appliance optimised for running SAP Business Suite software powered by SAP HANA that can handle large amounts of transactional and analytics data located in one centralised database.
