Software and hardware provider Emerson Network Power (ENP) has released a new solution that is supposed to help small and medium sized businesses avoid downtime.
The Liebert APS system is integrated with Emerson’s Life remote diagnostic solution and FlexPower technology, supporting up to 20kVA/18KW of energy power.
Emerson said the solution is the most efficient UPS system in its class, reducing downtime and overall costs as well as improving reliability and achieving 92% efficiency in double-conversion mode.
Other features include a wrap-around maintenance bypass, eliminating the need for on-site services and maintaining uninterrupted communication between users, and updated modular scalability, allowing users to change power capacity or back-up runtime efficiently.
Franco Costa, VP and general manager at Emerson Network Power, said the pressure on IT managers to avoid downtime is more important than ever when it comes to IT loads.
"Coupled with the mounting pressure to improve both energy and operational efficiency, it is vital to have the ability to monitor technology applications in real-time," he explained.
"With the Liebert APS, organisations can have peace of mind, with a highly dependable UPS that can easily increase capacity and can grow without downtime."
The Liebert APS UPS system can also be installed in any data centre or network environment, on raised or non-raised floors, or in standard rack enclosures..
Emerson recently released a new notebook designed to help IT decision-makers build infrastructure efficiently.
