DeskStream has unveiled Dynamic Virtual Desktop (DVD) platform that enables enterprises and service providers to deliver a client hosted desktop virtualisation offering.
According to DeskStream, the DVD platform provides a scalable offering that facilitates enterprises and service providers to help create, secure, deliver and streamline the lifecycle of virtual workspaces in a cost-effective way.
The DVD platform brings the web computing to work in complex legacy desktop computing to simplify the desktop management tasks, while leveraging cloud computing to deliver Desktop as a Service (DaaS) over the Cloud, the company said.
DeskStream founder and CEO Rao Cherukuri said the company is confident that its DVD platform will revolutionise the way people compute in the future.
"Our platform seamlessly works with the upcoming technologies like GoogleTV to deliver PC content on-demand to end users; enables streaming Microsoft Office to billions; and offers huge power cost savings," Cherukuri said.
