Oracle has released Connected Digital Lifestyle, which provides communications service providers (CSPs) with a unified platform for service exposure, content management and delivery and advertising to enable new revenue streams and increase customer loyalty.
As a part of Oracle’s Connected Digital Lifecycle offering, Oracle also released Oracle Communications Services Gatekeeper 5.0, standards-based service exposure and policy enforcement offering that enhances a CSP’s service delivery platform which enables communications service providers (CSPs) to leverage their key network assets to deliver innovative and revenue-generating applications.
Oracle’s Connected Digital Lifestyle offering’s features include: an end-to-end digital content retailing platform that enables CSPs to increase revenue and customer loyalty by deploying compelling, cross platform mobile device and web storefronts; content lifecycle management system allowing CSPs to streamline content publishing processes and enable content providers to submit and track their content; and an in-application billing to simplify the purchasing experience and increase revenue through significantly higher conversion rates.
In addition, the Connected Digital Lifestyle also include a service exposure and policy enforcement platform allowing CSPs to monetise unique network assets by exposing the assets as Web 2.0 application programming interfaces (APIs) to enable the creation of innovative applications and services; multi-channel advertising capabilities; and location and subscriber profile targeting to increase advertising effectiveness and drive new revenue generating opportunities.
Connected Digital Lifestyle offering components include Oracle Communications Digital Store, Oracle Communications Services Gatekeeper and Oracle Communications Marketing and Advertising.
Oracle Communications Products vice-president Liam Maxwell said communications service providers are in a unique position to generate significant revenue from the burgeoning mobile application market by utilising their key customer intelligence and network assets, such as location-based services, billing and messaging, to support their own app store leveraging Oracle Communications Services Gatekeeper and/or Oracle’s Connected Digital Lifestyle offering.
