Cloudmark, a provider of carrier-grade messaging security services, is working with Microsoft to integrate its Cloudmark Authority messaging anti-abuse platform into Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server.
Cloudmark Authority software is claimed to deliver spam, phishing and virus protection. Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server integrates multiple scan engines from security firms to help businesses protect its Microsoft Exchange Server messaging environments from viruses, worms, spam and inappropriate content.
Cloudmark said that the system also integrates on-premise and hosted-filtering services into a single system. The collaboration between Microsoft and Cloudmark is expected to extend the reach of Cloudmark’s messaging security technology to Microsoft enterprise customers using Forefront Security for Exchange Server.
Cloudmark Authority utilizes a combination of Advanced Message Fingerprinting algorithms and real-time corroborated feedback from the Global Threat Network system to detect messaging abuse in real time.
