The US-based networking equipment firm said CTD will integrate traffic analysis from Lancope’s StealthWatch System with its telemetry capabilities and contextual-based identity system to help provide greater security against cyber-attacks.
Features include enhanced visibility into what is going on inside a user’s network and quicker detection rates that bring you closer to the source, eliminating the need for manual threat investigation.
Scott Harrell, VP of security technology at Cisco, said combining Lancope’s StealthWatch System with the company’s infrastructure would enhance cyber threat defence.
"Together, Cisco and Lancope are delivering a CTD solution for unparalleled protection from the Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and targeted attacks that are wreaking havoc on today’s government and enterprise networks," he added.
Lancope president and CEO Mike Potts said: "Our inclusion in the SolutionsPlus program will allow our customers to maximize the value of their network infrastructure and keep their assets and data secure amidst an ever-evolving threat landscape."
Lancope’s StealthWatch System enables users to thwart threats including DDoS, zero-day, insider and APT attacks, by leveraging NetFlow, IPFIX and other types of flow data from existing infrastructure.
