Cirrhus9 has introduced a new C9 Cloud Service Provider (CSP) platform to enable service providers and technology companies offer cloud computing infrastructure as a service (IaaS) to their clients.
Cirrhus9 said that the new CSP platform is supported in part by 3Tera’s AppLogic cloud computing platform and managed by the company itself. The new CSP platform enables service providers, like managed hosting companies, ASP firms, software companies and/or IT services companies, offer cloud services to their customers with minimal investment and timelines.
3Tera’s AppLogic is a cloud computing platform that reportedly reduces the cost and complexity associated with infrastructure.
In addition, the company has configured a suite of open source products and management tools which are said to provide prepackaged applications that include email, document sharing/management, collaboration, learning management and others.
The company claims that the new CSP platform offering allows services and technology companies to enhance their current business models, offerings and products by extending them to the cloud. The CSP programme also enables companies to offer cloud services and expertise in a privately labelled cloud architecture.
Mike Michalik, CEO of Cirrhus9, said: “As Service Providers and Technology Companies further explore Cloud Computing, they will be able to leverage the deep relationships that Cirrhus9 has developed with the worlds leading Cloud Computing technology companies. Our mission is to help companies use and better understand Cloud technology to achieve measurable results.”
