BeyondTrust has announced the availability of BeyondInsight Clarity, an advanced threat analytics capability that enables IT and security professionals to identify data breaches.
As a standard capability, Clarity will pinpoint specific, high-risk users, accounts and assets by correlating low-level privilege, vulnerability and threat data from BeyondTrust and third-party solutions.
Brad Hibbert, vice president, product strategy and operations, BeyondTrust, said:"It’s no secret that IT and security professionals are overloaded with privilege, vulnerability and attack information."
"With today’s announcement of threat analytics as a part of the BeyondInsight console, we’re enabling IT and security teams to spotlight those risky users and assets that were previously overlooked. BeyondTrust strives to stay a step ahead of competitors by delivering innovative technologies that combat issues as they arise, rather than after the damage is done."
Due to traditional security analytics solutions being unable to correlate diverse data to discern hidden risks, APT’s can go undetected. This means that isolated events can be written off as exceptions, filtered out or lost, meaning that an intruder could remain in the network causing damage.
BeyondInsight Clarity aims to enable IT and security leaders to be able to cut through data in order to identify their organisations’ most critical risks. The system can observe changes by setting baselines for normal behaviour and identify anomalies that could signal threats. This information comes from the BeyondInsight v 5.4 database.
