Under the terms of this agreement, Network Technology will sell, distribute and support AwoX middleware solutions for networked audio/video applications in Japan.
According to AwoX, the MediaCtrl enables original equipment manufacturers to build products that stream video, music and photos seamlessly using digital audio and video devices in people’s regular home networks as well as from commercial, internet-based services. In addition to its middleware, AwoX also manufactures connected devices for emerging markets such as internet radio, digital media adapters, video-on-demand boxes and network add-on boards for TVs. All AwoX solutions are based on the mediaCTRL technology core.
