Agilemobile.com has released Agile Messenger for the Open Handset Alliance’s Android operating system. Agile Messenger is a multi-protocol IM client for mobile phones and provides a connection to the public IM networks of ICQ, AOL, Yahoo, MSN, GoogleTalk, and any XMPP server from Android based mobile devices.
The company said that the new IM client features its multi-media messaging technology that enables users to send instant picture and voice messages from mobile to mobile and mobile to PC.
The company added that Agile Messenger runs in the background on the Android operating system, providing an always-connected experience for end users while away from their desktop computer.

The company said that the Agile Messenger is available for Apple’s iPhone, Windows Mobile, Symbian Series 60, 80, 90 and Symbian UIQ, plans to release for Palm’s new WebOS and for Blackberry.
