Slate Corp has announced a joint marketing relationship with NCR Corp in conjunction with NCR’s launch of the 3125 pen-based computer: the NCR salesforce will sell Slate’s PenApps software and will promote the product to NCR accounts for the 3125; PenApps is a software application development environment for pen computing; the Developer’s Release is available for the developer’s release of Go Corp’s PenPoint operating system which also runs on the NCR 3125 system; developers can begin work on pen applications in PenApps and they can be migrated to the commercial release of PenApps for PenPoint or Windows for Pens; the PenApps Developer’s Release is available now for $2,500 and includes a free upgrade to the commercial release of PenApps, and a licence for the PenApps Engine.
