A Corp, Emeryville, California developer of the CheckVision and RemitVision high-volume complex transaction processing products for cash management in the financial services sector, says it got its initial public offering of 2.525m shares, 2m of them new, away at $6 per share. The underwriters for the issue were Alex Brown & Sons Inc, UBS Securities LLC and SoundView Financial Group Inc.
Colt Telecom Group Plc, the London company formerly known as City of London Telecommunications Ltd and wholly-owned by Fidelity Investments Ltd, has signed Morgan Stanley & Co to float it in the US.
Dr Solomon’s Group Plc, the Aylesbury, UK company famous for its virus-checking software, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public on Nasdaq with an initial offer of 5.7m American depositary shares, 3.99 million of them new, at a target price of $15 to $17 per share. It wants the $55m or so net proceeds to repay or redeem obligations incurred by company in connection with the management buyout of its former parent, S&S International Ltd, and for expansion of North American sales, increased investment in research and development, expansion of production capacity, development of improved management information systems and possible acqusitions. The lead underwriter for the issue is Goldman Sachs & Co.
