Application software provider SAP has released GRC 10.0, the new software suite for the growing GRC (governance, risk and compliance) market.
The company said the new offerings feature user-friendly features like embedded BI (business intelligence) and a graphical risk modeling tool.
GRC solutions group vice-president Jim Dunham said that there is "virtually no part of the product that has not been touched."
SAP’s new GRC release aims at merging GRC with BI, according to Dunham.
The offerings provide a single, unified environment for the most comprehensive support for management, monitoring and analysis of enterprise risk and compliance activities.
Nearly three years in the making, the new release integrates GRC capabilities into everyday business processes, helping make risk management, regulatory compliance and safe, productive operations a standard and a consistent practice, said the company.
The 10.0 release puts SAP in competition with players such as Oracle, IBM and EMC in the GRC market.
