Business software and services provider Sage UK has launched Sage 50 Accounts 2012, the latest release of its flagship financial software for small and growing businesses.
The company said Sage 50 Accounts 2012 delivers mobile functionality to users, greater control of reporting and faster processing of data.
The new tool is enhanced in line with feedback from more than 3,000 customers, said Sage.
Additional Sage 50 Accounts 2012 enhancements include improved performance; improving collaboration between accountants and businesses; remote mobile access; quick search; reporting enhancements; and lock date.
The software comes pre-installed with the past four versions of the Suite. This automatically opens the correct version for the accountant even if a client has not upgraded to the latest software.
Sage Small Business Division product manager Robin Moore said small businesses are looking for ways to improve the efficiency of processes and the way they operate.
"With Sage Accounts 2012 we are helping customers find a little more time in their day," said Moore.
The latest version also contains Sage 50 Accounts Mobile. Customers can use the tool to read and update Sage 50 Accounts 2012 data as and when they need it, regardless of location, via the free Sage 50 Mobile app, Sage added.
Sage Small Business Division Product Manager for Connected Services Geoff Phillips said, "Businesses today demand access to accurate, up to date information whether they are in the office or on the road. The development of Sage 50 Accounts Mobile has been fuelled both by the growth in smartphone adoption and an increase in demand for mobile business applications from across our customer base."
