Research In Motion (RIM) has launched BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone in Australia and New Zealand. It is expected to be available from Optus and Vodafone in Australia and from Vodafone in New Zealand.
According to RIM, the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone features full-QWERTY keyboard and touch-sensitive trackpad; 256MB flash memory and a 512Mhz processor; voice activated dialing and Bluetooth (2.0) support for hands-free headsets, car kits, stereo headsets and Bluetooth peripherals.
In addition, the new smartphone includes 2MP digital camera, media player, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and BlackBerry Media Sync. It also features BlackBerry internet service support for access to up to 10 supported email accounts and BlackBerry Enterprise Server support that provides security and IT administration features and built-in Wi-Fi,and expandable memory.
