The Linux distributor’s revenue in the period ending February 29, was $37m, up 43% on the year. Subscriptions accounted for $25.9m of this, up from $14.4m the previous year, while services were $11.1m, down from $11.5m a year ago.
Operating income was $2.5m, compared to a loss of $2.4m last year. Net income came in at $5m, compared to last year’s $273,000 loss. This resulted in earnings per share of $0.03, in line with estimates.
Red Hat’s full year revenues were $126.1m, up 39% on the year. Net income for the year was $14m, compared to last year’s $6.6m loss.
