Radiant Logic, a provider of virtual directory offerings, has released a new version of RadiantOne Virtual Directory Server (VDS) Context Edition 5.3, which provides enhanced performance, scalability, reporting, and extends its support for protocols, including XACML and SPML 2.0.
According to Radiant Logic, the new version VDS 5.3 provides flexible virtualisation offering that can scale to millions of users with guaranteed performance and is purpose-built for global enterprises with heterogeneous, distributed data sources, and high user and data volumes.
The VDS 5.3 extends data management functionality with improvements and updates in its identity and context layer, and enhanced support for SQL, the company said.
Further, the company has strengthened its security offering, by entering into a partnership with Axiomatics to provide offerings for authorisation based on the XACML standard.
The company said that by externalising context through virtualisation of data and application silos, it enables Axiomatics to consume these contextual attributes inside XACML-based policies, and provide a complete standards-based offering for customers.
