QlikTech, a business intelligence service provider, has signed a partnership agreement with Business & Decision, an international consulting and systems integration (CSI) company.
Under the agreement, Business & Decision will launch its new offerings based on the QlikView Business Discovery platform for industries such as banking, insurance and life sciences.
In addition, QlikTech and Business & Decision are developing joint ‘go to market’ plans, both at the local and global level to share know-how, practices and business activities across Switzerland, France, US, UK, Belgium and Russia, said the company.
Business & Decision CEO Patrick Bensabat said his company and QlikTech are focused on transforming the mature market of business intelligence, where innovation and specialisation differentiates leaders from followers.
"The size, processes and structure of our companies fosters agility and responsiveness to market trends. Our critical mass, now allows us to deliver our offerings globally," Bensabat said.
"Through this agreement we are nurturing these key differentiators. It enables us to expand our expertise even more rapidly across countries, with more focused offerings."
QlikTech global alliances vice-president Peter McQuade said organisations have new expectations about the speed and types of information they want to deliver in a self-service format to users.
"Business & Decision has shown its ability to implement our agile Business Discovery offerings in big companies as well as in small businesses. They deliver on meeting IT’s expectations for enterprise offerings as well as business users’ demands from an intuitive product like QlikView," McQuade said.
