P&P Plc’s first big continental adventure was to swoop into Belgium to buy microcomputer products distributor Zaventem Electronic Dealer Distribution, but the company no longer fits its strategy, and ambitious distributor Ingram Micro Inc, Santa Ana, California reports that it has completed its third European transaction this year by buying the bits it wanted of Zavantem from P&P, on undisclosed terms. All inventory and fixtures of Zevantem have been transferred to the Brussels facility of Ingram Micro Belgium – customer list, relevant inventory, fixed assets, accounts receivables and major vendor contracts: key attraction of Zavantem was the Hewlett-Packard peripherals it has rights to handle.
