The Mortgage Solutions Framework is a suite of mortgage processing modules that can be implemented individually or integrated together from point of sale to servicing and secondary marketing.
The new addition, according to John Le, CEO of Portellus, is aimed at lenders who want a platform that integrates well and that can be easily customized and maintained on their end: Customization is nearly effortless since front-end user interface screens are built independent of validation, decisioning and workflow logic. This enables lenders to easily modify their customized offerings, their ‘look and feel’ of the screens by activating/deactivating menus, tabs and fields.
Portellus claims that lenders can either bring the solution in-house or utilize Portellus’ hosted turnkey offering. Some of its functions include prequal and/or full underwriting, multiple channel support/tracking, full risk-based pricing for first, second and combo loans, and loan deal structuring, real-time loan status and rate-lock capability.
